Introductory base prices until 31 December 2026. Subscribe before 1 January and keep your introductory base price for as long as your subscription stays active. From 1 January 2027, new base packages cost £31.24/month or £337.36 upfront for 12 months — a 25% increase, rounded to the nearest penny. Additional engineers remain £9.99/month or £107.89/year each.

All 22 active gas and heating record types across natural gas, LPG, unvented hot water and renewable heating. Company-branded certificate PDFs, numbered quotes and invoices, and supported calculator PDF/report downloads. Oil remains deferred.
Up to two engineers are included in the base package. Additional engineer capacity is available. The subscription belongs to your company; public calculators remain free to use without an account.
What you can do free
Use the gas rate calculator without an account. Use on-screen IGEM/UP/1B and installation-volume calculations free. Create an account to save supported certificate, quote and invoice drafts and supported IGEM calculator results.
The gas rate calculator has a temporary recent-results list in the current page. It does not save results to your account or generate a PDF. Fictional public sample downloads are free; they are not editable blank forms or issued customer documents.

Essential offers a free account with supported saving features, not an advertised time-limited free trial of paid issuance or downloads.
Does the January price change affect existing subscribers?
Base subscriptions started before 1 January 2027 retain their introductory base price while the subscription stays active. New subscriptions from that date use the standard base prices shown here. See the terms for subscription details.
Does an invoice PDF collect payment for me?
No. The invoice can display your payment terms and saved bank details, or record cash already received. It does not automatically charge your customer.
