ESSENTIAL PRODUCT TOUR Actual Essential screens. Fictional company and job details. Quotes, certificates and invoices can be used independently. Let me show you around Essential, and how the paperwork fits together. For this walkthrough, we're using a fictional heating company, but these are the actual screens and documents. You can use Essential for a quote, a certificate, an invoice, or a combination of those. It depends on what the job needs. We'll start with a free account. This is where you add your company details and the engineers working with you. Once those are saved, they're ready to use on your new documents. So when we move into the workspace, the business details are already in place, and we can get on with the paperwork. Now, say a customer has asked for a price before agreeing to the work. We've got you covered. Open a quote, add the customer details, and list the work and prices. Here you can see how that becomes a clear, company-branded document. Once you've agreed the quote directly with your customer, you're ready to move on with the job. If that job needs a certificate or work record, choose the relevant one here. Add the customer and property details, then record your checks and findings as you work through the questions. Before anything is issued, you can review the answers and make changes. Capture the customer's acknowledgement where available, and the engineer signs last. This is the finished result: an A four document with your company details and its own record number, with the record saved in your company workspace. When you're ready to invoice, you have a choice. You can use the quote as the starting point for a new invoice draft, or create an invoice on its own. There's no need to create a quote or certificate first. Check the items, dates and payment terms, then use your saved bank details, or mark cash that's already been paid on site. The invoice has its own number, and the earlier documents stay as they were. You'll also find the free gas rate and tightness calculators here. You can calculate without an account, and a free account saves the supported drafts and tightness results. When you want numbered customer documents, PDF downloads and sending through your connected company email, that's included in the Essential package. Two engineers are included, with options to add more. So that's Essential: your company details, your paperwork, and just the documents you need. Explore the samples and create your free account to get started. If you decide to subscribe, use code Essential thirty for thirty percent off your first monthly or annual subscription payment. It's for new customers who redeem it by the thirty first of December, twenty twenty six, with one use per customer. Your subscription then renews at its normal price. The full offer details are on the website.
